Return policy is ridiculous for this western boot company.
These boots were longer fit then the sizing chart suggested. Wore them one day, and tried to return them. There return policy reads that if they have been worn you might get 50% back or they will discard them and you will get no refund ridiculous

    Love these boots , nice soft leather is also why I say get a half to one size smaller as they run a little big and the leather will stretch . I use walk-fit insoles for arch support . Been wearing them on my 10 hour days in construction and there holding up well . I should also add this is my first pair of cowboy style boots and I much prefer these to the lace up type I’ve previously worn at my job . I defiantly recommend and I will buy again . Adding to my review , I wear 8.5 and ordered 8.5 and they fit perfectly . I’m ordering another pair for dress .

    Great boots. Great performance. I listened to the reviews to buy a size smaller and that was a bad idea. Thankfully Amazon was very gracious with my return. I then purchased my normal size and they fit great. Still breaking them in and I'm already happy with them. The top is very floppy; which is annoying but also makes them so comfortable. I have bought another brand of work boot for the last 5 years that I will probably go back to when I wear these out. But I can see why my buddy likes Ariat's and I could very well change my mind a year from now.

    Very comfortable and lighter steel toe boot. I did not give it five stars because of the unfinished leather inside shank material. I like that style because it is very comformtable and loose against your skin so there is no long break in period, but I also don't like it because it grabs onto your socks and holds them for ransom when trying to put the boot on.

    Since they are loose/floppy shanked boots, they can be kind of tricky to get your feet in there while fighting the sock graboids if you have ankle/knee problems, but in the few weeks of wearing them, I have made adjustments and they seem to be getting smoother/easier to put on.

    I was looking for a nice pull-on work boot and Ariat makes great boots, so I decided to try this one. It fits well, maybe just a little on the larger size, so you may want to try going down a half-size from your typical shoe size, but it depends on what socks you plan on wearing with the boots. I wear a nice strong work sock, so the size works well for me at my typical shoe size. The other thing to note is that the shoes are heavy... but I was expecting something more solid and sturdy, so I have been very happy with the weight. Great shoes that are comfortable to wear when doing work in the gardens/fields.

    My left boot has squeaked right out of the box. It's only gotten worse with time. Will update my review as Ariat works thru this issue with me.

    The boots themselves are very comfortable. Not as good as my previous pair of no-longer-available Ariats, but quite comfortable. It's like walking on a pair of pencil erasers.

    Filed warranty claim for squeaking boot. Ariat gave me a handful of remedies to try.

    Ariat has been sitting on my warranty claim for 3 weeks. They responded quickly, initially, but after confirming receipt of my pictures, they haven't said a word. I don't care how good the boot is - if the customer service sucks, I won't be a future customer.

    If I could give negative stars, I definitely would. This boot is squeaking louder than ever. For wearing it primarily at an office desk, I can't believe it is falling apart like this. It's been nearly 2 months since I started the warranty claim, but still don't have a "resolution" from Ariat. I've called Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of this week, leaving voicemails for their warranty dept., but they won't return a call. They claim the "one and only lady" that can handle a warranty claim is away from her desk, but she'll call me back when she returns. I've been waiting since 9/22/19 for her to "get back to her desk".

    Quality wise, these boots look great. They are very well put together. After reading a bunch of reviews, I ordered a full size smaller than I normally wear in a regular width. These boots were still too large for me to wear for daily use. Way too much heal slippage. I'm ordering another full size smaller as a replacement, but I'm not too optimistic. Would have gone down a half size first, but they don't have the size listed in a regular width. We'll see.
