Product Description

Looking for an outdoor mid-cut boot that can do anything and go almost anywhere? The versatile LOWA Innox GTX mid is prefect for a day on the trail with the extra support you gain from a mid-cut design. The Innox GTX is lightweight yet super stable and supportive, thanks to its tough synthetic uppers and LOWA’s exclusive PU (polyurethane) MONOWRAP midsole construction, which acts like a frame to firmly hold your foot and keep you steady when you’re moving fast over uneven terrain. The durably waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining keeps your feet comfortably dry and the sturdy NTX outsole delivers reliable traction on loose dirt and rocks. With its sleek, modern styling, the Innox is equally at home in the  trail or tavern. And that’s not enough, the Innox is built with all vegan-friendly materials, and like all LOWAs, it’s 100% Made in Europe.

For close to 90 years, LOWA boots have been acclaimed by climbers, mountaineers and hikers as the finest outdoor boots in the world. Every LOWA boot is handcrafted in Europe, where they incorporate the elements of thoughtful design, superb materials, clean manufacturing processes and fair labor standards. When you own a pair of LOWAs, you can be confident that you're wearing authentic outdoor footwear that "walks the talk" when it comes to quality, performance and sustainability.

The real question is why all shoes & boots can't be as good as Lowa's. You'd think feet would be settled science, but somehow one wouldn't know it from the workmanship, fit and durability of too many other brands. Lowas, by comparison, are consistently excellent in my experience. These are very much in their tradition.

The fit is fantastic, as it always is with Lowa. Sizes are among the things that seem to differ from manufacturer to manufacturer and often between models and styles within a manufacturer's line, but I wear a consistent US 13 in Lowas, and the result is very comfortable and, for me, requires no breaking-in.

These boots have little or no leather but instead are marvels of molded structural elements and Goretex. They're very light weight but appear to be as sturdy as my doughty old leather Lowas. I'm looking forward to snowy times with these boots.

Update: I've had these five years by now and they're still going strong. I don't wear them everyday, but they'd have my confidence if I had to.

Great boot. Showing massive wear after intense use for an entire season I doubt it will last another. Wearing at the seams with dime sized holes. I love the weight. I needed an insole for added arch support and had to go with a size 14, though I'm always a 13. I survey wetlands and forests and I use this boot because knee high waders hurt my hips after 6 or 8 miles. These are light, help the ankles, and dry out after submerging. I have a leather pare of Lowas that I love but never submerge because they are so expensive. These boots are great... but the signs of wear keep me from giving it a 5 star review. Also, as a field ecologist, I am extremely hard on boots, so take this with a grain of salt. I bought these for work and will likely do so again. I will also probably buy a pair for personal use because they are very good.

Very nice. Comfortable even after 12 miles on very rigorous terrain with 20 lb daypack. Recently hiked in all day rainstorm, these kept my feet dry, even during stream crossings that were almost boot top deep. All my other "waterproof" rain gear failed to perform on that trip, but these were perfect. Also, great traction on slippery wet rock. No slipping at all. Construction quality appears to be first rate, but these are light weight, so I have to wonder how long they'll hold up. I've put about 200 serious trail miles on them so far, and only wear them for hiking. Flawless so far.

Update: August 2016. Still going strong, over 600 trail miles on them. Still maintaining waterproofness, even in wet Pacific NW forests. They may have lost a bit of their rigidity, but nothing noticeable. I recently replaced the insoles with Sole insoles, which was a nice upgrade.
Still loving them.

Lowa have made the Innox boot so light yet surprisingly robust. I have thrashed these boots and they still keep going. Lowa are my favourite shoe brand have been buying them for years and these boots are amazingly versatile and practical. The goretex keeps the wet out yet remains a very breathable shoe under most conditions. I own 2 pairs now and will continue to buy this boot as long as I live or they finish making them whichever comes first lol! I wear 8.5 in the Lowa Renegade and also Innox boot fits perfectly in 8.5!!!

I have not had a chance to use these boots during Archey Elk Hunting yet, and that is my intended use. My first impression it that they are very light weight, fit as expected, and seem to be very comfortable., About like wearing high top basketball shoes. Very excited about this purchase
