    These are the best work boots that I have found for my wider foot. I wear them up to 18 hours a day and they are the most comfortable ones that I have found. I am a Type 1 diabetic and have always had foot problems.

    I think my husband will really like these boots when he gets them broken in better. He has problems with his feet and they have been more careful than what he has previously worn.

    He did comment they seemed a little large although 10 EEEE was what he was wearing before.

    I am very happy with the fit and feel of these boots. They are a great compromise between street shoes and work boots, perfect for light work, walking gentle terrain and general everyday wear. The leather polishes reasonably well and the laces grip firmly. I would give these boots five stars if:
    • They were available in black and,
    • The soles were more durable.
    So far as I can find, only brown was offered as an option (somebody let me know if I'm wrong, please) and while I only walk an average of 20 miles per month, the soles are nearly worn out out in my original pair in less than six months. Simple math, they aren't lasting more than 120 miles.

    I have spent no small period of time looking for a pair of boots that it wasn't insisted that I have to "break in" and suffer for a month and a half while the shoe slowly destroys my arches and toes.

    These boots at a 10.5 4E actually fit my foot. I wear a 10.5 4H for comparison.

    They look good. The sole is soft, and squeaks a little on shiny surfaces.

    They fit. The speedlace hooks are VERY solid, well made and the sole is properly adhered to the upper.

    If you have a ludicrously wide foot, as a few men do, this is the boot. If you just wear a wide, you have lots of options. If you need a WIDE boot, this is your boot.

    The boots fit very well, the problem is not fit. The problem is the sole is too hard for a work boot, it hurts my feet if I am standing more than 30min. No arch support at all, no comfort, they need to make the Dura shock up to 14-2ew or bigger.
    Up date it’s been a few weeks and the boots are killing my feet so uncomfortable I waisted my money.

    I have been buying this model 4906 boot for 8 years now. I buy two at a time and rotate them M-F, 40-60 hours a week. As they get older they are recycled as yard work boots. Shop around, you can find them for $65. a pair w/ shipping and as much as $100. w/o.
    They are comfortable and wear well. They keep their shape fairly well. I have never had a issue with the seams separating or glue failing which is why I got away from timberlines and similar. I'll get 1-11/2 years between the two pairs in my daily work environment before retiring them to the backyard garden shed.

    I have 4E wide feet. These boots fits nice. I work all day on my feet. I work on concrete 10hrs a day, never sit. These boots last around 1 year before the cushion starts to fade, i will replace the insoles with gel style after that. The soles will be gone about 6 months after that. I really abuse my boots. So I am very impressed with Wolverine!
