It serves up all the signature Dr. Martens’ details like iconic stitching, grooved sides and heel-loops. Built to last, this unisex boot is forged using one of the finest methods of construction: utilizing a Goodyear welt and heat-sealing it to the sole. The 2976 is made with highly durable leather and sits on an AirWair sole, which is oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance. Use Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to protect the leather and keep your boots clean, soft and supple.

Best boots ever!! I had tried the patent leather version and those felt like torture chambers! While these boots are a little stiff, I feel they will be pretty easy to break in. They aren't so stiff they're uncomfortable but if you have wide ankles these won't be for you. I'm a true women's 8.5 and the 7 women/6 men are absolutely perfect. You will not regret this purchase! While I do love the signature yellow stitching, The monochrome look makes them more sleek and flexible and to dress up or down.

    Such a cute and stylish boot! I kept seeing mixed reviews on the size, and though I normally wear a women's 8 I bought these in a size 7 (men's 5, EUR 37) which I've found is the same size I wear for Birkenstocks. They fit perfectly! Just enough room to let me wear a thicker sock if I wanted to. Very comfortable and clearly durable. They shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition.

    The only cons I have about these shoes is that upon opening the box I was shocked at how large the actual shoe was. Putting them on for the first time made me feel like I was wearing clown shoes! I ended up warming up to them, but for about a week I was certain I was going to return them. After about a week of actually wearing them I fell in love. Overall, an adorable and great shoe - just make sure you like the clunky look!

    Returned them (thank goodness for free return). Even after converting to UK size to order the right size the ones I recieved still had 1 1/2" - 2" at the end of my toes. Plus even going down a size I think they will always be too wide. Not sure whether I will reorder another size (which will drastically up the price) or maybe try something else like Blundstone. Also the Smooth Black Leather on these has a weirdly vinyl feel I am not sure I enjoy.

    Amazing! This is my first pair of Dr. Martens, and I can only say that I am very happy. For reference I got the black smooth 2976 Chelsea boots. I usually wear 7.5 US, but after reading the reviews, I got the 7 US and they fit perfectly. You can also measure your feet, that works too to get the right sizing. I have enough room to wear thick socks or just to feel comfortable during long walks. The quality is great and it goes with almost everything. I sprayed them with a leather protector, just in case, and the leather just looked even better.

    Be forewarned *THESE DO NOT HAVE THE TRADEMARK DOCS YELLOW STITCHING AROUND THE SOLE*

    I actually sent my first pair received back for a replacement with the note they sent the wrong shoes. I’m super disappointed bc I thought I was getting the look I loved so much as a kid in the 90s.

    Not to say they aren’t good looking and amazing quality with beautiful leather, but it’s like buying Louboutins w/o the red soles. Not cool.

    I wear a size 7.5 shoe and 8 boot in women’s and was really worried about sizing down. But, I went with the reviews and got a 7 and it was perfect. I also had no issue getting these on, and I have a wide (chubby) foot.
    They are also not uncomfortable to me, but I do Pilates everyday so I have really strong feet and ankles.

    They are good looking, and am going to keep them regardless of the stitching. Anyone who knows the brand will be able to tell they are docs even wo the stitching. Just sucks bc of aesthetics. AMAZON PLEASE UPDATE THE PICTURE

    these boots are so cute and so comfortable (besides the pain of breaking them in) but the elastic on the side of one of them is already coming out ): i received this package 4 days ago and wore them each day to break them in and the elastic string already came out on the top. i thought the quality would be a lot better or at least that this wouldn't have happened within the first four days of owning them. nevertheless, they're still cute boots and are just as comfortable as my 1460s

Seguendo i altri recensioni, ho ordinato il mio taglio normale (38) pensando che saranno abbastanza comodo per portare con i mie calze di lana invernale...e sono, quando finalmente riuscì a mettere il piede dentro!
    la caviglia e collo del piede sono molto, molto stretti. se tu sei una persona con un alto collo del piede, essere pronti a farli ampliato al calzolaio.
    Alle fine, ho leggermente inumidito dall'interno e chiesto a mio marito (che ha un piede più larga ma dalla stessa lunghezza) di portarle per un'ora o due, dopo di che, è stato possibile mettere il piede dentro.
    Detto questo, dopo un mese, ora sono molto confortevoli, anche con le calze di lana invernale, e le indosso ogni giorno.

    ja, was soll man da groß sagen, es sind eben Dr. Martens :) Da gibt es gottseidank nur Positives zu berichten. Qualitativ absolute Spitzenklasse, Leder ohne Fehler, saubere Nähte, sauber verklebt, gute Einlegesohlen, Gummieinsatz wirkt sehr hochwertig, einfach top. Die Bequemlichkeit ist nicht zu vergleichen, die Sohle der Docs spielt da einfach in einer ganz anderen Liga als sämtliche Marken, die ich sonst kenne :) Auch habe ich nicht das Gefühl, dass die Chelseas eingelaufen werden müssen, waren schon beim ersten reinschlüpfen super bequem. Optisch sind sie auch sehr schön, klassisch, schlicht, passen zu allem. Das Leder ist nicht mein Lieblingsleder wegen des "matten Glanzes" aber leben kann ich damit.

    Nun zur Größe: Ich trage in meinen gefütterten Schnürdocs 39, was ich auch in den meisten anderen Schuhen habe (Fuß ca. 25cm lang) und habe hier aufgrund der Bewertungen 38 bestellt, und sie passen wie angegossen (auch mit dicken Socken). Dass die Schuhe sehr breit sind kann ich so nicht bestätigen, also zumindest nicht breiter als meine Schnürer, und ich habe sehr schmale Füße, aber liegt vllt auch an der kleinen Schuhgröße. Lediglich der Spann könnte für mich noch etwas flacher sein.

    Aber insgesamt liebe ich sie jetzt schon, freue mich auf den Herbst und muss mich zügeln, sie nicht auch noch in braun zu kaufen :) Zudem bekommt man sie hier für einen klasse Preis.
