    I ordered boot half size large. If you will wear thick wool sock do order full size larger. Otherwise half size large is fine. Like all Ariat boots they are solid well made and slightly heavy. The picture does the boot no justice- they look much better. Do give yourself a few days to break them in.

    I have poor circulation so I need good footwear to keep warm. These boots are very warm, waterproof, and snug without any wear-in time. The first day I had them I wore them for 12 hours (through snow and mud) with no hot spots or any other discomfort afterward. My shoe size is typically 9-9.5 so I ordered the size 9 boot and the fit is perfect.
