Product Description
While real cowboys need no help looking genuine, you can be sure this authentic number will remove all doubt. Squared at the toe, embellished at the shaft, and cut in a deep scoop at the top, the hardy number is born for whatever ground you roam--even if that's a city square. A stacked heel and rubber sole add the comfort you need to escape the day unscathed--or at least unblistered.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2014These are well made (China) and classy/classic cowboy boots. The color is as shown: dark butter colored shaft and yellowish dried mud foot with a pebble grain that is not shiny and so appears more rugged and less dressy. The length is true but the vamp across the arch is snug; so a high arch or wider foot will be an issue. Normal to wider heel feel. Great toe box like a good pair of biker harness boots. Nice insoles that are changeable. All gave me a virtually zero break-in period.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2015I’ve had my eye on these boots since I saw a video review of them on YouTube, and that person raved about them. I had to see for myself, so I’ve kept an eye on them. Due to a recent price drop of over 50%, I jumped at the opportunity to get an honest pair of western boots.
This past winter, I bought a pair of Ariat Ramblers, and have been impressed with their wearability, good looks, comfort (once broken in, more on that later), and value. As a result of my success with that pair of boots, I decided to give these a try.
I should state from the outset that I have the absolutely wrong foot type to be wearing boots. My feet are small (9.5) and wide, with a very high arch. As such, getting my feet into boots, and then toughing out the break-in process is a painful endeavor. hell, even removing the boots can be a chore.
When I picked out my Ramblers, I chose the same shoe size I typically wear- 9.5 2E. Unfortunately, because of the arch height I have, I am unable to wear the insoles that come provided with the boots. Having said that, they are still incredibly comfortable, and I love their look.
So this time, when I ordered these, I wanted to have my cake and eat it too, so to speak, and went half a size up- 10 2E. The increased size certainly has helped (I’m forever on the cusp of 9.5 or 10, depending on shoe fitment and type), and can state unequivocally that had I ordered the smaller size, I’d never have been able to get my foot in these.
A word on leather: the leather of the Ramblers is very soft and unconstructed, and even the foot-cradle was softer upon delivery than the uppers of these new boots. When I’m done wearing the Ramblers, the tops slump right over like something from a Dr. Seuss book. The Rawhide boots, on the other hand are stiff. As in “wont slump even when you aren’t wearing them” stiff. I know that this will change as I wear them, but be aware that they aren’t immediately comfortable, at least for me.
I got mine yesterday and was ecstatic when I could get my foot into them without religious training or much in the way of swearing. Today, however, my feet became very uncomfortable during a drive, and the thought of pulling over, wrenching them from my feet and completing the trip barefoot gave me a thrill. Unfortunately, Jersey shore traffic wouldn’t permit it, so I ambled up my stairs and got them off once inside.
The boots look great with jeans (I got the brown and seashell combination), and I even love the extra height they afford, but I’m not planning on any extended walks until they’ve spent some more time on my feet around the house.
As for construction, they are fantastic. They have the hammered instep, common to much higher-end boots, a riding heel, not that I’ve even seen a horse for months, and the stitching is all beautiful.
At the moment, I’m sitting on my deck wearing them and enjoying a cigar, secure in the knowledge that I can walk inside, take these off, and choose from anything else in my closet if necessary.
All in all they’re great boots, and I’m sure that they’ll soon be a regular part of my wardrobe. But not until break-in is complete.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2012The boots were a gift for my 16 year old grandson, who loves them. In fact, I wonder if he ever takes them off?? He said that the boot fits good and are very comfortable. I chose the color(love it) and style and they have a nice look. Good quality, and I think they will be durable. My grandson is rough on footwear so I hope these boots will last him a while. Very nice boot for dress or for play.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2013I love Ariat boots. The quality, comfort, and style is Hans an feet (pun intended)over the competition. I usually hate wearing cowboy boots because it feels like your walking around on concrete all day. Ariat goes above and beyond to ensure that your feet remain comfortable for hours. Now I will not lie. These are still cowboy boots, and if you wear them for more than 8 hours straight your feet will ache.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2013These boots have a really nice combination of attitude (blue uppers) and rugged, everyday style. They look stylish and rich without being ostentatious. Better yet, they are the most comfortable pair of cowboy boots for walking that I've owned (been wearing cowboy boots since 1983). Very pleased with these boots.
