Don't buy Nocona boots from Amazon
I bought these in November for me for Christmas. I didn't start wearing them until late December. By late February the piping on both sides of both boots started cracking, exposing the white fiber filling inside the piping. Nocona website states they have a one year warranty. Nocona would not honor their own warranty because I bought the boots on Amazon. Of course the return period had passed before the cracking began. It was technically too late to dispute the credit card charge, but USAA reversed the charge anyway. Afterward Amazon emailed me and said they credited the purchase price. Thanks Amazon, USAA already did that for me. These boots are nice except for the cracked piping. Moral of the story: Don't buy Nocona boots from Amazon.

    I'm despondent that I had to return a pair of these wonderful boots! I have two pairs of the exact same boot but in different colors (black and black cherry). I was keen to add a nice, dressy brown to my growing collection- alas, the right boot felt like it was a size smaller than the left. =(

    I apparently purchased the last pair Amazon had on hand too because I was only offered the choice of sending them back for a refund as opposed to getting a replacement set. What a bummer! I thought long and hard about taking them to a cobbler to be stretched, but decided against it in the end and returned them. Kudos to Amazon for making the return process easy and painless.

    The boots were absolutely gorgeous too- and constructed very well- the same as all of my other Noconas. They're super comfortable- the kind of boot you can wear all day long and then out for a night on the town! Highly recommend!

    Oh my gosh! I'm a Lucchese man with several pair. I bought these Nocona boots because my wife bought a pair in Nashville and loves them. I am very particular about my footwear because I have unusually flat feet and at 6 ft 2 in I need a lot of arch support. As soon as I opened the box I knew these are quality boots -- and they are soooo comfortable, like slippers I can wear anywhere. I normally wear 13 D but I bought the 13 EE based on another reviewer who said that they run narrow which turned out to be correct. This was a great purchase and a great value that didn't break my bank like my Lucchese boots. I love my Lucchese's but now I am a Nocona fan, as well. They also arrived two days earlier than promised by the seller to my delight.

    A bit more narrow across the ball of the foot than I thought for a EE. The arch was also short which left the area right behind the ball of my foot without support.

    DARN!! These are nice boots - but they just didn't fit my unique foot the way that I had hoped.

He said they were "made for him" right out of the box! Keeping these, but ended up buying a pair of Ariats with a lighter color that highlighted the design. These are great for those more formal events where you just want your comfortable boots, but you have to wear a suit or tux....but they look great with your favorite 501s too!
