    The ankle portion is too large to secure the shoe, so while the foot bed is perfect in size, the shoe still feels loose as I walk. If they just tightened up the circumference of the ankle hole it would be more practical and comfortable. Because this doesn't fit snugly against my lower leg, it lets smells out, which is a problem.

    Solid simple shoe that looks nice. There is some plastic smell as noted - I believe it comes from the non-removable foam inserts. That said, it off gases pretty quickly and isn't noticeable after the first day use for me. Don't expect these to be high end shoes at this price but I've seen shoes in the 70-90 range that offer the same thing so I consider them a good value. I'm satisfied with them for every day use but if you are looking allen edmunds or florsheim or cole haan etc, this is the wrong place to look.
