- Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2015Size: 10 WideColor: BrownVerified PurchaseMy boots were a little tight in the width on my right foot, buts that probably just my foot. It took about 3 to 4 days to get these boots broke in to the point that they were comfortable when I first put them on in the morning. I would suggest using mink oil or Red Wing boot oil to help break them in. It softens the leather and protects them from moister. These boots are heavier then I usually like but not overly heavy. Very comfortable soles also.
I wear them mostly when working on rough ground, they have good traction and good ankle support. I would buy them again and would suggest them to friends.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2012Size: 9 WideColor: BrownVerified PurchaseThis is the second pair of Carolina boots I have bought.
They are well made and fit great.
The first pair I bought lasted almost 5 years with daily use.
They are still in good enough shape to wear around my place.
The old pair had no problems.
No broken eyelets, no broken laces, and the soles are still in good shape.
I will continue to buy Carolina boots.
American made as an added bonus.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2015Size: 11 X-WideColor: Amber GoldVerified PurchaseMy husband works in a factory, on his feet all day. He got these out of the package, put them on and went to work. He didn't have any issues with "breaking them in" . He was comfortable the first day in these boots!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2016Size: 13Color: Amber GoldBeen wearing this model made in the US for years after switching over from RedWing ( i believe tjis is the only model Carolina still manufactures in the US). I replace them about every 18 months. I work around a lot of water, oil and some chemicals and they hold up great. No need to break these boots in, comfortable out of the box. Be advised, they do run narrow. I wear an E width in most boots but an 5E in the model. I would recommend test fitting this model at a brick and mortar store before purchasing online to get the correct width.
