Worth buying again at full price.
My dad bought these for me 3 years ago on sale for $50.00. I have used them every day as work boots and they are still holding together. Was not surprised at all to see that they are $300 boots. They are well built and definitely worth it. Why else would I consider buying the same pair of boots? It's either spend $50 every 3 months, or $300 for at least a few years...easy math.

    I love that they're made here in the states. The quality is felt throughout the boot. I wear mine every day, but with orthotics, so I really can't comment on the arch support.

    Boots look like they are very well made. I did a lot of shopping around to find a quality boot and one that is made in the USA. The previous hiking boot I had was made in china and lasted about two months. Made in The USA is important to me.

I have had many pairs of similarly styled boots over the years that all fit great at 10.5 regular/medium. These were so tight they were squishing my toes together! I may try a 10.5 W next or look for another brand....

    I normally wear standard size shoes, but had to return the size 10.5 and order the 10.5W because the toe box was too tight on the first pair. Otherwise, this is a great hiking boot.

    Purchase these boots a year ago and I just received my third pair. First pair lasted just under six months second pair lasted about six months. Both pairs started making a popping sound with each step, i'm no boot repairman but I suppose the fiberglass shank broke in each pair.
    Danner did replace both pairs no questions asked and no problems.

    The only thing is I wish Danner still used a steel shank instead of fiberglass. It doesn't matter what reason they say they did it for, they did it cause it's cheaper. Don't get me wrong, Danner are good boots but for what they charge there boots should have steel instead of fiberglass.
    2-25-16 Update - This is my 3rd pair of these boots and where doing the same thing as first two pairs. If all your going to be doing in these boots is walking then you should be fine. If your going to be wearing them everyday working in them i would not recommend them or any of Danner's boots with a fiberglass shank.
    Only reason for two stars is Danner replaced the first two pairs no questions asked. Not going to waist my time asking for another replacement pair.
