good boots, size varies, need to check fit, leather in lowers a bit thin, after 4 pair i switched to different brand, good boots not very durable, sizing is a bit erratic, i was told hand made so i put up with sizing issues, switched different brand when i found substitute same pricing

I wear 8.5 US size for all of my shoes/sneakers etc. I was a bit worried as to how these would fit for length and width from not wearing cowboy boots before and not being able to try them on. I went with the idea of them being the same as my normal shoes size and luckily they were, the size was perfect. Didn't need really any "break-in" time and they are still fitting fine after a few months of wear. Just the right snug fit they suggest with the thud/plop when pulling on the boot.
The leather is amazing, really soft, and good to know it's handmade in the US and not a factory in China. The colour is true to the picture. Giddy up!

I recently bought these and expected them to be as good as all the reviews said. Sadly they were very uncomfortable. Beautifully crafted but just not comfortable as I thought they'd be. I wear rounded toe boots normally and really wanted to try a pointed toe style. Wow! Did not expect them to be so hard to wear. I wear a 9 1/2D but these felt like a 9D. From what the reviews read I thought they would be true to size but they sure didn't feel like it. I was patient with the break- in period but the more I wore them the more uncomfortable they became. I am returning to BootBay and am hoping they will exchange (even though they were worn)for a pair of Dan Post boots which I've owned and are great. round toe of course.

I think bootbay slipped me a pair of boots that had been previously worn. I just ripped them out of the box and didn't check as closely as I should have so it's on me. Looking back on it I probably should have returned the pair I got but I got careless and just trusted amazon. Soles looked previously worn also and a few scuffs I didn't care for....boots are only new for one day and they do get beat up with use. Moral of the story....always check your merchandise and keep your boxes and etc. We are watching bootbay....perhaps not me but the next buyer will hopefully off this review. Would have returned again but this supplier is close to me and figure people have jobs and etc....even if they did slip it to me apparently.... Overall Nocona still makes great boots.....

Ive had many pairs of Noconas now and I must admit that when they came in I did not like them. The color wasnt as rich as i thought it would be and they just looked too light. I decided to keep them since I didnt have any that color and I love boots. I gave em a try and as usual there was no break in period with these. Somehow they have become my favorite pair of boots. I get more compliments when i wear them than ay other Nocona boot i have. Im glad i kept them and didnt send them back. When you get them the boot is very light but when you wear em out with a dark blue jean they look great.
