    I bought these boots to wear only a few times a year. I don't need boots that often and I decided to try these. I'm glad I did. I've worn them eight times in the past two weeks performing outdoor yard work and light construction, just to "break" them in. I don't need waterproof but if they are that's an added bonus. These boots fit well, are comfortable and light weight. I don't know how durable they will be but for my light duty application I am very well satisfied so far.

    My husband uses these as work boots and he's on his feet all day. Hi-Tec is a name he trusts, but he's been having problems finding this boot in local stores. Luckily we found his size and width. These are a good looking boot and are well cushioned with great arch support. Since he spends his days on his feet and doing a lot of walking and carrying, the ankle support is good too.

    These last about a year under punishing conditions. He's a meat cutter, so they get wet, are in a cold environment and have a workout every day. He goes between two pairs, so he can usually get them to last closer to 16 months.

    A good comfortable work boot.
