    I wear size 11 1/2 shoe and 12's fit great and I put an orthotic insole in them, of course this takes up a little space. This is my second pair, my first pair only lasted about 15 years so I am back for another pair. My old pair are still in use and will be until the snow gets deeper than where the rubber gave up above the ankle where they bend when walking. The insulated ZXT keeps my feet warm all winter down to zero degrees while mucking stalls and paddocks at our ranch in eastern Wa. State. That's as cold as it gets here but I bet they would insulate well to even colder temps. I have tried other brands of rubber work boots and they either were not comfortable or they didn't last near as long as these do. The bottoms on my old boots still show very little wear but that may be due to the traction devices I wear in the icy conditions here. For me, this is the only rubber boot I would ever buy. Easy to step in and out of without having to sit down and tug them on or off, but stay put while working. Unbeatable.

    I like these boots. I've owned LaCrosse products before and have been happy with the quality and durability...these boots are brand new of course, but I expect the same. As noted in other reviews they seem to run a tad large. The fit is adequate but I'm left wondering if I could have gone a 1/2 size smaller. It's nothing I'm going to lose sleep over...or send them back for that matter. If nothing else the fit leaves me room for heavier socks if necessary.

    My only gripe is these boots don't have a little "nub" on the heel for taking them off. I'm talking about the little nub that you hook with your other toe and peel the boot off hands-free (I hope I'm not the only one that knows what I'm talking about). I know I'm knit-picking here but the nub would be nice.

    In spite of the reviews that this is a winter boot, my husband (retired Coast Guard, served in Alaska) took one look at it and wouldn't even try it on. There is a small amount of insulation around the foot, with only a thin layer underneath the foot. The entire upper part of the boot has zero insulation. It's just rubber. Also, the boot lining is NOT removable for drying. Because of other reviews, I was hoping for a tall warm boot that could handle snowdrifts and deep mud on a midwestern cattle farm. This is NOT it.
