    As others have mentioned the shoes seem a little larger than they should be. They fit me comfortably except in the heel area which is to loose (and I fear that as I break them in they will get worse). That said, they are very nice looking shoes that appear to be well made. They are my first Clarks but, at this point (I've only worn them a few times in the week I've had them), I don't know if there will be more only due to my heels slipping about so much which has necessitated my purchasing of a heel snug (have not received them yet.

    To be honest, I would rather have returned them because of the fit but I procrastinated and missed the return window.

    I ordered the Clark's Fulham boot for my husband in a size 10 1/2 which is what he normally wears. We had to send them back and get a size 10 instead. He loves these boots and says they are extremely comfortable. We'll see how they hold up to daily wear and tear.

    I read a couple of reviews before purchasing this shoe, reviews stated the shoe was one full size large. I purchased one full size smaller than normal only to find the shoe was tight. I returned for 1/2 size larger and the fit was perfect for me.
    Secondly, previous reviews mention the lack of support. That is accurate; no arch support inside these shoes; however, just purchase insole with arch support and they are very comfortable. I have a high arch.
    I will also comment on Amazon's customer service; my experience exchanging these shoes was exceptional.
