Customers find these shoes comfortable with a super soft sole and appreciate their timeless style that works for both dressy and casual occasions. The shoes receive positive feedback for their quality and value, though opinions about fit are mixed, with some finding them good while others note they run large and are incredibly narrow. The durability and sole quality also receive mixed reviews - while the leather is good, the soles are very thin, and some report issues with shoelaces falling apart. The arch support receives negative feedback, with customers noting it's not great.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2016I'm going to buy these again. Love them. They're beautiful, the grey is blue enough that it shifts a little with what you are wearing but out of the box is a lot "truer" of a grey than it looks in the picture. I was afraid they would be almost baby blue but they're exactly what I was hoping for. They're comfortable, and even getting dirty gives them more character. Yea the crepe sole gets dirty but again, Clarks look even better with time and wear. Very comfortable walking shoes... the one thing i did notice the fist time breaking them in, the top of the tongue rubbed against my foot and was starting to irritate the skin, I was wearing them for the whole day but that issue has been less and less. I wish they came in a leather version of the same color, versus suede, just because. But I love the Jink.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2013Look very nice. Light-colored stitching looks sharp. Distressed taupe looks a bit more grayish and a bit less brownish, but still goes well with browns, tans and greens. Sole is made of crepe (whatever that is), the same kind they use on the original desert boots, so it will get dark with dirt as you wear them, and fuzz and lint will stick to it. Makes me glad I didn't go with the light beige color shoes.
Finally, they fit very well and are very comfortable. Just need a couple of times till the leather relaxes, so be patient. Officially, I wear size 11 and the ones I bought are size 11. That said, sizes 11.5 and even 12 usually fit me better with other brands and types of shoes/boots/sneakers, so, if in doubt, err on the side of a smaller size.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2013I'm a big Clarks fan, and this is my 3rd shoe by Clarks in addition to my 2 desert boots. The outsole is nice and soft. It kind of chips away, but I believe all Clarks with crepe soles do that. The insole is nice and supple near the heel area (it does not extend to the rest of the foot). The brown is a nice, crisp color that seems to age well. The shoe goes well with casual or business casual clothes. I like the laces, too. I'm not sure what they're made of, but the material feels/looks nice. Overall, this is a quality shoe for a good price. I decided to get these instead of Sperry's and I'm glad I did.
Note: I use Aldo insoles with these when I wear them without socks.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2015Clarks Jink shoes are the most versatile shoes I have ever owned. Casual enough to wear with jeans and a T shirt, yet classy enough to wear with some chino pants and a button down shirt. This is actually the second pair of Jink I buy, along with a third pair I ordered in Olive Nubuck. My only complain about this shoes is the sole.
Crepe soles pick up every bit of dust, dirt, cigarette butts and anything small laying on the floor. Eventually the soles turn black from all the dirt they have picked up. Even so, this is a minor complain and the comfort this shoes provide are second to none.
I only hope I will be able to find this shoes again when the time comes to put this pair to rest!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2015still deciding on what to do with these. since there were two versions available for men 10.5, I'm not sure if I got the narrow version... I've never had a shoe fit this uncomfortable before.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2013They really don't make shoes like this anymore. The quality is outstanding. I am fairly new to Clarks and I wish I wasn't, I can't believe it took me this long to find them. If you like good looking shoes that are very well made then you have come to the right place. Obviously I can't speak for all their products, but these shoes are perfect. They fit exactly as expected (true to size), they look exactly as expected (great), and they feel even better than expected. I will absolutely be a return customer. Not much else to say here - get yourself a pair.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2016I used these shoes as my "daily driver" for about a year. They were quite comfortable and I regularly received compliments on them; like other casual oxfords, they're a rather easy way to dress up a simple outfit.
My biggest complaint is that the sole of this shoe began wearing away after 3-4 months and was completely destroyed within the year - to the point where you could see my heel through the bottom. I was mostly using them to walk to and from class several times a week, so nothing extremely damaging (e.g., hiking) - just sidewalks.
I paid $63.54 for these and think any shoe that costs >$60 should at least last a year. I see now that some variations are >$100, and at that price I'd advise consumers to stay away and buy something more durable.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2015These shoes look really nice. I wore them for a job interview recently, and I felt that I was dressed appropriately. The soles are very thin however, so they aren't all that comfortable, especially since I usually wear Clark's Wallabees, which have a very thick sole. I probably would not choose these shoes if I had to do a fair amount of walking during the day. They would be fine for wearing around the office however, or if you want to look good but not too dressy. The ring of plastic around the back also cut into my feet by the end of the second day of wearing them.
