    After reading the reviews I purchased these boots. Like said, order one size smaller than you wear. I wear a size 12 and bought size 11 and they fit perfectly. Perfect wiggle room. Never had a felt pack type boot fit so comfortably.
    People who reviewed say wear a heavy wool sock. I wear short golf socks all year round no matter if I'm wearing boots or sneakers.

    I wore these when I was snow blowing driveways and they are comfortable. The liner didnt bunch up and my feet didnt get cold due to the type of socks I was wearing or due to the steel toe. Granted I was walking and wasnt standing/sitting still so my feet were warm but not sweating.

    Also like mentioned these boots are steel toed. Just about all my work boots/shoes are steel or composite toes so this was great to find out I could wear these working and not worry about my toes getting crushed.

    BTW, these boots are dark green. The Canuck at Bafflin who says these are black must be colored blind or had too many Molsons, eh?

    Bought this boot according to my size and too large. Exchanged with no issues from the seller. The size under is a still a bit large with my feet slipping inside but this is rectified with a double layer of insulated socks. If I go a size smaller than that one I'll probably be relegated to tight boots. On to the review.

    I work on a 2000 milking head dairy farm and am exposed to the elements year round. Bought these boots as they are steel toed (cows stepping on toes not pleasant). I've already experienced working out in -10 degree weather with a -35 windchill and these boots kept me plenty warm. Double socks might have helped.

    I also have relatively wide feet and usually steel toes start pinching my toes. These boots have plenty of room and I didn't feel the steel toes. It's also a nice flexible, tough rubber and the grip on the soles is more than satisfactory. These are far more superior pac boots when compared against Kamik and Ozark Trail (Wal-Mart brand). I would highly recommend.

    Definitely want to go a size smaller than your normal size though.

    Just got these boots last weekend so I haven't had a chance to really try them out yet.
    As other reviewers have already noted it fits large. I wear a size 15 and the 14s I got fit perfectly.
    The thermal layer fits snuggly on my feet and I didn't notice any slippage yet.
    It did a great job during the minor tasks I performed.
    I'll post an update once I take these to the farm and "really" try them out.

    These waterproof, insulated, steel toe boots are comfortable (I ordered size 12 the same size as my street shoes, however in boots I normally wear 13's) I keep them in my truck and even wear them while fishing in the winter. I like the snow tie on top however I rarely use it because here in Oklahoma we don't often get more than a few inches of snow. They are tough and if they ever wear out I will buy another pair!

    The negatives: These boots are just too heavy and the fit is too loose to walk with them comfortably; the boots slip with every step, due to its width around the ankle, weight and lack of heel-holding support. While walking in this boots one is constantly attempted to adjust and keep them from falling off, which leads to stiffened ankles and tired feet. The boot's inner lining partly shifts and the felt you walk on gives the impression of a rolling-slipping feel that's weird to say the least. I don't even want to imagine what will happen when the boots get covered with clay or mud, or while crossing a creek or stream. Yes, the boots are generously sized, and it is advisable (if at all) to get them (as I did) one size smaller than the normal shoe size you wear. Still, all the negatives mentioned above remained to the most part.

    The positives: Yes, the boots are warm and the materials used seem to be of good, solid and robust quality. The rubber is flexible and will not break in cold conditions, unlike lesser quality plastic boots. After all, this boots will service a hunter waiting in ambush, a person sitting in front of a bonfire in a winter's night, for ice-fishing on a frozen lake, or a farmer driving his tractor. But just don't attempt or expect to walk in them swift, far and away.

    Love the Baffin Boots, live in N. E. And this year we got more than our share of white stuff. In January I had a total knee replacement, and am still working on range of motion, but had no trouble slipping the boots on from a standing position, with no bunching of the insulation and the tie tight water resistant nylon top skirt really keeps snow from getting down inside . I was outside on a 10 degree day, for 4 hours and no noticeable cold discomfort and was only wearing sport socks. Size is as expected I wear an 11 wide and I bought 11 wide an it was perfect. Plenty of room for sport socks, and still room for another pair of heavy socks.
