I just received my boots yesterday and all I can say is "WOW." This is my 4th pair of Dan Post boots but my first pair of ostrich. I own 2 pairs of the Denver caimans and 1 pair of the Franklins, all are very comfortable and fit just right. When I opened the package everything was packaged nicely. As soon as I opened the box the sweet aroma of leather filled the air, the boots are beautiful and the workmanship is superb. The leather is soft and supple and the color is awesome. As I pulled on my new pimp as hell boots, it was like the boots hugged my feet like long lost friends finally reunited. The boots are great and feel like they are already broken in. These are going to be my new favorite boots when going out 2 steppin or for Sunday mornings when I sit on my porch and have a cup of coffee and read the paper. If you have a chance to buy a pair, Do it! You won't be disappointed. Cheers!

    Received these yesterday and could not be more pleased! Beautiful full quill skins, good fit, and nicely constructed overall. I normally wear size 10EE, but I ordered a 10D based on some reviews which stated these ran slightly large. I'm glad I did, because the fit is perfect.

    Shipping was a little slower than expected, but shipping was free and they arrived by the date promised. The boots weren't packaged in the original box, but were in pristine condition. I would buy again without hesitation.

    Boots are very comfortable, however after only wearing 3 days the sole and heel started to come apart. I was going to return them but did not have a spare pair of boots to wear in meanwhile as I had thrown out my old Ariats After a few months of mostly walking the sole and heel are still in tact. Regardless, I walk in wet grass almost every morning and my feet have not gotten wet, so they are waterproof!.

    As comfortable and good looking as these boots are I would not buy them again. My Ariat boots are just as comfortable, lasted much longer (with abuse) and cost less

    This is my second pair of Dan Post Chandler boots and I couldn't be more satisfied. The fit and comfort is excellent right out of the box. No break in period needed! For first time ostrich buyers, be sure and get a pair that fits as they will not stretch much like leather. The center sole material should provide much better wear than traditional 100% leather soles. The heel cap is a thin layer of rubber. I strike the heel pretty hard when I walk and usually that is the first part that shows wear on my shoes, so time will tell how well these hold up. The look and feel are excellent!

    This is my second pair of boots. The first pair lasted 3 years, and all they need is the sole redone. The leather is still in great shape. I wore my boots every day for 8 plus hours a day, 5 days a week.
