    I bought these for my son. He is autistic and has trouble with laces so conventional boots (even though he likes them) were out of the question. He loves these things.. They give him a greater sense of self worth because they are cool looking and he has no trouble putting them on and zipping up. I even had to make him take them off last week because he wanted to wear them with shorts,LOL.

    Definitely a bit on the larger-fitting side. I'm usually a UK10 or US11. I ordered a US10.5 (which is a UK9.5 in these boots) and they fit me just right. Any bigger would have been too big, mainly due to the extended toe area. The boots are comfy enough but if you're doing much walking you want to buy some inner-soles.

    Boots are expensive for what you get. Soles seem to be slippery. Looks nice, but uncomfortable for long periods of wear. Wish they had a softer insole and a bit higher arch. Will have to buy extra arch support and softer insole for comfort which may make me wish I had bought the size 13 boot. Wish these came in 12.5.
