Great boot; however, it is slightly darker (less sand more orange) than depicted. I'm normally a size 12 in most shoes/boots. My caribou's are a 12 and fit well. Based on other reviews I took a chance and ordered an 11.5... Glad I did they fit perfectly! Fit well with a tick wool sock and are very comfortable. Warm enough for a daily urban winter boot.

i personally own quite a few Chelsea style boots, my favorite outdoors day-to-day boots are the well known Blundstone, but i decided to go for something extra that's a little less widespread - the Sorel. i think they are a real fashionable and comfortable upgrade. they are both unique in appearance as well as very very light (sneaker light). once you put them on you can really feel how high they are in quality. i will say this though - they are a little tight in the beginning put i'm sure it's a matter of time before they conform with my foot.

I have been wearing these boots to work every day and it is not only do they keep my feet dry and warm, they are even comfortable after standing for a few hours.

Although I am overall impressed with the quality and look/feel of the boots there is some mild fraying along the top of the elastic part. This is not a major concern and does not seem to be causing any issues with the boots but I would not expect this from a five star product.

Great boots. This is my second pair of Sorel boots. My experience with this company has been their boots run ½ size large. I usually wear a size 11 but ordered size 10½ and they fit perfect. I printed out the size chart on the Sorel website and that chart for my foot said to order 10½. I would highly recommend sizing your foot on the Sorel chart so you order the right size. These boots are very comfortable and needed no breaking in period for me. These boot appear to be well made. I have had my other pair of Sorel boots for several years. I wear them regularly and they have held up great. I noted some of the reviewers said the pull tab pulled off. I always use a shoe horn so I am not concerned with that being a problem. This one from Amazon has worked very well for me: Durable Easy-Grip Long Handled Shoe Horn Bright Green (24-inch) by FootMatters.

The insulation in these boots is slight. They are warmer than a regular shoe, but not by much. They aren't nearly as toasty as any number of Thinsulate-insulated shoes/boots from Cabellas, Lands End, or similar merchants. If 40 degrees is the mark of a cold day for you, these boots will be fine. But, if you want walking shoes that will keep your toes toasty at temps down 10 degrees or so, or even 0 (or below 0 if active), these boots are not a good choice.

I love the fit, look, and convenience of these boots. I never had a slip on boot before. I like being able to pull these on. I bought them less than two months ago. I wear them 2 days a week and only drive and walk short distances.

I will attempt to get them replaced under warranty, but Sorel's warranty is one year. I thought these were perfect and threw out the box, etc. Now I probably have to buy a box, pay for shipping, and be without boots for a month or more until Sorel decides to fix or replace them.

I grew up wearing Sorel's in Alaska. They've always had kind of a loose fit, so I wasn't surprised by that. But they used to be able to make waterproof boots. These aren't. Whatever coating they use, my feet stayed dry one day in the rain, but by a third day in the rain, they were soaking thru just from walking through wet grass.
